Northeast Rail Heritage Inc. (NRH), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was alerted that Silverliner No. 238 — the final survivor of its class — was at risk of being lost forever. Thanks to the generosity and understanding of Sullivan’s Scrap Metals, who recognized the car’s historic importance, No. 238 was graciously donated to NRH in July 2025. Now, we need your help to secure its future. Your tax-deductible gift will support cosmetic restoration and the return of No. 238 to its iconic 1990s “Yellowbird” livery, honoring its years promoting SEPTA’s Airport Line.
